Receiving Guide
Purpose
In order to provide the best experience for your brand, Print Bind Ship (PBS) utilizes a methodical, repeatable and scalable receiving process. This allows the inbound operation to pre-assign storage locations, make better use of resources, and move inventory as efficiently as possible. By following this guide, you will help our operations team meet service levels for your receipts, ship to your end customers faster and avoid unnecessary charges, errors, or delays. All “qualified” deliveries are processed FREE of charge, “unqualified” deliveries will incur additional charges. Please see PBS Receiving Rate Card attached.
Please follow the steps below to ensure your delivery is Qualified

· A detailed packing slip is required with every delivery that lists
o Each unique product being delivered along

Setting up your delivery
· ASNs are required for ALL inbound shipments to be considered qualified for receipt, which allows inventory to be received into our WMS.
· Please log into your portal and create an ASN https://melfulfillment.com/
o If product arrives without an ASN, the shipment is considered unqualified for receipt and will be quarantined until an ASN is created and approved
· Scheduled dock appointments are required for ALL freight (LTL), full pallet deliveries. Please schedule dock time here https://calendly.com/receive-melpbs/request
o Deliveries that arrive without a scheduled dock time are subject for refusal
· Small package deliveries do not require scheduled dock appointments, ASNs are still required
