Advanced Shipment Notification (ASN)

How to Create an Advanced Shipping Notification (ASN):

Creating an ASN is a vital step whenever you send new inventory to our warehouse. It allows us to confirm we’ve received the correct products and quantities, ensuring your inventory is added to the system in a timely manner.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Navigate to the Inventory tab.
2. Select Advanced Shipping Notifications.
3. Click Create New ASN.
4. Enter your ASN Title.
5. Enter an ASN PO number for your tracking needs.
6. Select DTW Fulfillment as the Building Sent To.
7. Enter the details of the incoming shipment (specific products and expected quantities).
• Tip: Click Add Row to add additional products.
8. Enter any relevant info in the ASN Notes.
9. Input your tracking information and expected date.
• Note: If this info isn't available yet, skip it. You can add it later by clicking the Pencil icon on the created ASN.
10. Click Create this ASN at the bottom right of the screen to save.

Managing Your ASNs:

Once your ASN is created, use the icons under the Options column to manage it:

• The Book Icon: View the full details of your incoming shipment, including receipt confirmation.
• The Pencil Icon: Edit the ASN (useful for adding tracking and expected dates).

• To easily reconcile your stock, navigate to Inventory > All Receipts. These records automatically reflect against your created ASNs.
